4 Keys To Link Popularity

Link popularity is one of the best ways to achieve high internet search engine rankings. Backlinks tell the search engines like Yahoo and Google that your site is important. Here are four ways to ensure your own lucrative link popularity.
Key 1. Watch
Nothing can kill your importance with the search engines faster than a long list of unimportant links. An important link is one from a website that is also important, and that is relevant and somewhat related to yours. For instance, if you are selling after market car accessories to a worldwide market, you wouldn’t want a link to a local nightclub.
Key 2. “Will Write for Links”
You can often get lucrative link popularity by writing articles for other webmasters. You would simply offer them for free in exchange for a link. Sounds simple, and it is. Just remember to contact the webmaster in a way other than an email–they get tons of spam and will probably delete it. Call them.
Key 3. Never Exchange Links
You could beef up your links in a day by exchanging links with everyone you know who has a website. This is sort of cheating, and the search engines can detect this easily. It also pegs most people’s Baloney meters, so don’t even bother.
Key 4. Never Use Artificial Links
You can get booted from the rankings for creating artificial links. This is where you create websites just for the purpose of manufacturing backlinks. Search engines know about this and keep it at bay. Lucrative link popularity is easy enough that you shouldn’t need to be dishonest, so don’t bother with this, either.
